Our Story

Zuki Japanese Hibachi Grill & Sushi Lounge has been in operation since January 2007. After its expansion in January 2010, it now has a total seating capacity of 200. The dining area is divided into 3 sections – the Hibachi which consists of 8 hibachi grill tables, Sushi lounge and Yakitori.

Zuki (derived from Suki which means “refined taste”) has made a name for itself. It has gotten rave reviews both from local newspapers and diner’s club. To date, it has 993 fan club members in Facebook. 
Parties and Conferences

The private room area which can seat up to 14 people has a long hibachi grill table as well.

Cozy Atmosphere

The interior of Zuki has been described as "upscale modern Japanese" replete with waterfalls and nice warm color scheme.

Almost Always Open

Zuki is open 7 days a week, and closed only on July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

Zuki has been given a Gold Winner award for 2 two consecutive years as Best Japanese Restaurant (2009 86 2010) by the Evansville Courier Press Reader’s Choice Awards. It was also given the distinction of Gold Winner for Best Restaurant Service in 2010.

It has been featured in the cover of Evansville Living magazine Jan/Feb 2010 edition with its famous sushi, “Dancing mama” being named as “the best sushi… of our city.” Zuki has consistently been a rated 4 1/2 to 5 star on Yelp, Urbanspoon and TripAdvisor review.
